Hi! I’m Tana – a multi-disciplinary designer, creative director and technologist with nearly twenty years of experience developing culture-defining platforms, programs, businesses, and ecosystems. I am currently leading experience strategy & design for MSG Sphere. Previously I led design and development for Obscura Digital, Gray Area, and Recombinant Media Labs. A proactive generalist with keen foresight, I thrive in cross-functional teams that explore the edges of possibility and design new ways of shaping perception & the human experience.

I completed formal education in creative technology, earning a BA in Interdisciplinary Computing & the Arts from University of California San Diego, and an MFA in Electronic Media from Mills College. My research and development in real-time interactive technologies and data visualization & sonification garnered two fellowship awards from the Qualcomm Institute (Calit2).

I have developed projects with: Ryoji Ikeda, Carsten Nicolai, Camille Utterback, Aaron Koblin, Holly Herndon & Mat Dryhurst, Casey Reas, Yasunao Tone, Richard Devine, Semiconductor, Biosphere, Skoltz_Kolgen, Morton Subotnick, Curtis Roads, and Thomas Köner, AS+GG for Al Wasl Dubai Expo2020, Virgin, AT&T, Visa, SF Travel, Li Ka Shing Foundation, Qasr Al Hosn Festival Abu Dhabi, Representation Project, Biennial of the Americas, Mutek Festival (CA), Decibel Festival (US), Transmediale Festival (DR), and Interferenze Festival (IT).
